Data You Choose to Provide
When a visitor enters a name, telephone number, or address in a search form, that query goes to the outside company providing the results. Our servers do not keep a copy of the search. Information sent through a contact message is received and used to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review combined traffic data to maintain the site and understand which resources visitors use. Basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technologies.
How the Information Is Used
The data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to county and Illinois record portals, libraries, archives, and outside search providers. Information submitted on those services is governed by their policies rather than this one. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a third party under that provider's privacy terms.
Parties That May Process Data
Companies that host or support the site may process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information identified above. Data is otherwise disclosed only when required by valid legal process.
Safeguarding Visitor Information
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site, and logs are retained only while needed for the purposes described above. Because there are no visitor accounts, this site stores no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
This adult-oriented service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
Privacy Choices and State Law
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data kept by a website. Illinois has no comprehensive consumer deletion or universal opt-out law in force as of the research date. Its narrower Personal Information Protection Act, 815 ILCS 530, chiefly governs breach notice, while the Biometric Information Privacy Act, 740 ILCS 14, addresses biometric data. The Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, governs access to public records but does not create a general right to erase facts held by a custodian. Because we retain little, a request normally means checking contact messages and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Illinois, Cook County, or Chicago offices remain under the custodian's control.
Updates to This Policy
Revisions to this policy will appear on this page. Continued site use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
